Apple is reportedly working on building a new device with a 5-inch display that could launch in 2013. The rumor was published by Macotakara on Wednesday, which cited “a reliable Chinese source.” We’re a bit baffled by the display size: Apple has never launched anything with a 5-inch screen and the most recent rumors suggest that it’s planning a 7.85-inch iPad, if anything. The 5-inch LCD screen with reportedly have either a 1600 x 960-pixel or 1280 x 960-pixel resolution, Macotakara said. We’re really taking this one with a grain of salt, we have to think  about the next iPhone before we start getting ahead of ourselves and predicting what Apple’s going to launch next year.
