T-Mobile Price Hike

T-Mobile may increase the prices of its 5GB and 10GB monthly data plans beginning on April 4th. A screenshot obtained by TmoNews┬ásuggests that T-Mobile will begin offering both plans for $5 more than it currently does. Current T-Mobile USA subscribers need not fear, however. TmoNews┬ásaid that the changes will only affect subscribers who sign up for the plans after April 4th. It also will not change the prices of T-Mobile’s Value Plan data features and the company will still offer its Smartphone HotSpot and Mobile Album Plus bundles with its Unlimited-Premium 5GB and 10GB plans. It’s clear that T-Mobile is trying to attract more consumers to its Value Plan options, which are cheaper but require that you bring your own phone or purchase one at full price.
