Instagram sign up Android

Instagram confirmed earlier this month that its popular photo sharing service, which has become a smash hit on iOS, is making its way to Android. If you can’t wait to get your hands on it, you can sign up now to be one of the “first in line.”

During a recent interview with TechCrunch, Instagram co-founder Kevin Systrom teased the upcoming Android application, and declared that, “in some ways, it’s better than our iOS app. It’s crazy.”

Systrom didn’t disclose the reasons why the Android app is considered better, and he didn’t mention how it was different to its iOS counterpart. But if you’re an Android user, it sounds like you’re in for a treat. Even Google itself has been impressed by how “the app leverages the platform,” according to Systrom.

With that said, you’ll want to sign up early if you’re into photo sharing services like Instagram, which, let’s face it, is undoubtedly one of the best. To do that, head over to where you can enter your email address to claim your place in line. You will then be notified when Instagram for Android is ready for you to download.

As soon as you get your hands on the new app, be sure to let us know what it’s like, and indeed how it’s better than Instagram for iOS.
