Maybe this is just the cynical consumer in me stepping up and taking notice, but I’m always taken back by video game trailers that show more footage of people playing the game than the actual game itself. It’s always scary to me when stock models are selling games more than gameplay or story trailers.
Kinect Star Wars might be an incredible game. It might be another fantastic entry in a line of, traditionally speaking, well made first party efforts. Terminal Reality, the studio behind the title, has done decent work in the past. Their last major game was Ghostbusters for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. While not completely wonderful, it was a charming title that delivered several great moments.
That might be the case here.
Or we might have a train-wreck of fake force wielding and stormtrooper dancing. I don’t even know where I am anymore.
