Foxconn May Need 20,000 Extra Workers to Handle iPhone 5 Demand

Foxconn may be more than just a few hands short to manufacture the next-generation iPhone, according to a new report from China News. Reportedly, Foxconn needs an additional 20,000 workers in able to handle the demand for developing Apple’s new iPhone. Apple is allegedly seeking as many as 57 million units and, in an effort to boost its staff, Foxconn has held a total of 20 job fairs for new employees. The latest rumors suggest that Apple’s new iPhone could land as soon as this fall with 4G LTE support and the same 3.5-inch Retina Display screen.
