Android 5.0 Jelly Bean Might Land in Q3

Android - Jelly Bean Logo with Text

Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich still has yet to gain real momentum in the global phone market — just a few devices have been upgraded and many brand new ICS phones were just announced during Mobile World Congress. Even still, rumors have started surrounding the next iteration of Google’s mobile platform, Android 5.0 “Jelly Bean.” According to a report in DigiTimes on Thursday, Google could be preparing to release Android 5.0 Jelly Bean during the third quarter of this year. We’re expecting to hear more about the OS during Google’s I/O developer conference, which kicks off on June 27th, but we’re hoping Google slows down its releases just a bit so that the fragmentation can begin to subside and phone makers and developers can catch up. Any guesses as to what will be included in Jelly Bean?
