Apple’s next generation iPhone may sport a 4.6-inch display, more than an inch bigger than the current iPhone 4S’s screen, according to a report by the South Korea media outlet Maeil Business Newspaper. The story was cited by Reuters¬†on Wednesday evening. Reportedly, Apple has already placed orders for the larger screen. Unfortunately little else is known about the device, but the news outlet’s source said the phone could ship closer to the second quarter. However, Apple announced the iPhone 4S last October so it’s possible the announcement could fall around that time frame. We’ll keep you updated if we hear more.
