Deus Ex Now on Xbox 360 Games on Demand

by Joey Davidson | March 20, 2012March 20, 2012 6:00 pm PDT

Square Enix sent us a press release this morning in order to spread the word that Deus Ex: Human Revolution has been added to the Xbox 360 Games on Demand marketplace. Eidos-Montreal’s work in this title was largely loved on both a critical and consumer level; aside from those obnoxious and unnecessary boss fights…man.

The nice thing about this Games on Demand addition (and, honestly, the entire reason I’ve taken the time to write about it) is that the digital version of Deus Ex: Human Revolution for the Xbox 360 is actually priced appropriately. The game is currently for sale, brand new, for roughly $30-40 in both stores and online retailers. The Xbox 360 Games on Demand version is going for $29.99.

Sure, you could pick it up used for less, but if you’re the type of gamer that likes things all new and specific to you, the digital download version might come as a preference. I can tell you from experience that you’re going to want to install the game before playing anyways (load times can be insane), so this gets that out of the way.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution was one of 2011’s best titles. If you’re an Xbox 360 gamer who doesn’t mind digital downloads as opposed to physical media, check it out if you’ve got a few extra bucks lying around.

Did any of the herd enjoy Deus Ex: Human Revolution? Would you recommend those that didn’t try the series give it a go?
