New iPad - Overheat

While Apple talks about how well the new iPad sold this past weekend, some users are complaining that the device isn’t all it’s cracked up to be due to over heating.

Reports have been coming in all weekend from sources everywhere of people complaining about the new iPad overheating.  Some users have even noted that a message will appear saying that that the iPad needs to cool down.  That doesn’t appear to be any uniformity to these complaints being tied specifically to the Wi-Fi or LTE models, and most people have said it seems to be coming from the lower left corner where the graphics chip is located.  From our sampling of TechnoBuffalo employees with the device, which span both Wi-Fi and LTE models, none of us have experienced this issue as of yet.

So, we’re curious, have any of our readers run into this problem yet?  Take a moment to vote in our poll and let us know your further thoughts in the comments below.
