Apple Highlights iPad Apps That Are Ready For The Retina Display

With your new iPad on its way to your door, or possibly already in your hands, you’ll be itching to get hold of some apps that are already optimized for the device’s high-resolution Retina display. Thankfully, Apple has made it easy for you to find them, with a new section in its App Store entitled “Great Apps for the New iPad.”

The list features 32 applications that have already been updated to include Retina artwork, including popular titles like Tweetbot, Infinity Blade II, Reeder, Evernote, and SketchBook Pro. It also includes Namco’s new jet fighter Sky Gamblers: Air Supremacy, which promises to be “the ultimate air combat game.

You may find that your favorite iOS titles aren’t yet included in that list, but it will take some time for third-party developers to update their apps. You can be sure, however, that now the new tablet is available to purchase, we’ll see a surge of updates that add high-resolution visuals over the coming months.
