Apple will pay you $320 for a 64GB Wi-Fi + 3G version of the original iPad 2. Not bad, if you’re considering an upgrade to the new iPad and want to get a few bucks in return for your old device. The deal is part of Apple’s Recycle and Reuse program and, according to TheNextWeb, Apple’s also willing to shell out $205 for the entry-level 16GB iPad 2, $250 for the 16GB Wi-Fi + 3G model, $245 for the 32GB Wi-Fi model, $280 for the 32GB Wi-Fi + 3G version and $275 for the 64GB Wi-Fi model.
Your iPad 2 is going to have to be in pristine condition to get those kind of prices, though, but Apple’s offering a pretty good sum of money considering that the brand new iPad starts at $499. We’d act quickly, though, as we imagine that Apple’s bid for your old device will begin to slump as people begin recycling and the iPad 2 grows older.
