SK Telecom has confirmed plans to upgrade the Galaxy S II to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich at 10am local time tomorrow, The Verge reported on Monday. While that might mean very little to those with the handset who aren’t on SK Telecom, it does suggest that a build is ready and that we might begin to see the update pushed out to many more carriers in the near future. Ice Cream Sandwich brings a number of enhancements, most notably of which is a totally revamped user interface. We can’t wait for the update to begin rolling out to the Galaxy S II on T-Mobile, Sprint and AT&T here in the United States. Hopefully the wait is nearly over.
