We haven’t heard official word on this yet from HTC, but apparently the company plans to sell a “Deluxe” kit along with the One X when it launches later this year. According to a listing on a Taiwan retailer’s website, the One X will be sold with a Beats Solo headset, a $180 value, and the whole package will set you back about $840. That seems a bit ludicrous to us, however, and we’d much rather wait for the One X to land on AT&T for a subsidized price.
The One X is sure to be a powerhouse, in any case. The international version is powered by a quad-core NVIDIA Tegra 3 chipset — the AT&T counterpart will instead have a dual-core chipset, but also 4G LTE connectivity — an 8-megapixel camera with upgraded camera functionality for snapping faster pictures, HTC’s brand new Sense 4.0 user interface and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
Neither HTC nor AT&T have announced launch dates for the One X and we’re not quite sure if this Deluxe kit is official or just the brainchild of a Taiwan-based retailer.
