Motorola Motoluxe Arrives in the U.K. on T-Mobile

Motorola Motoluxe

Having been on show at CES back in January, the Motorola Motoluxe has arrived in the U.K. and can now be purchased SIM-free, or on contract from T-Mobile. The Android-powered handset promises to aims to deliver a lightweight and attractive handset with an affordable price tag.

A number of retailers, including Clove.co.uk, Play.com, and Expansys, are offering the device in-store and online for just over £200 (approx. $315) if you choose to go SIM-free. But if you’re happy to commit to a two-year contract, you can get the Motoluxe on T-Mobile for free from £31 (approx. $49) per month. That plan includes 900 minutes, unlimited texts, and 250MB of data.

The Motoluxe only carries an 800MHz Qualcomm processor, so it’s certainly not the fastest Android device on the market. But it does offer an 8-megapixel camera with autofocus and an LED flash, which you won’t normally find on budget handset.

  • 512MB RAM
  • 8-megapixel rear-facing camera with autofocus and an LED flash
