Will we soon be toting 41-megapixel Windows Phone devices? It appears that might the case in the not-too-distance future. Nokia’s Senior Vice President Jo Harlow has reportedly confirmed that his company will begin to offer its PureView imaging technology, which was first unveiled in the 808 PureView press conference during Mobile World Congress, in its future Windows Phone handsets. The PureView 808 runs Nokia’s Symbian platform, but we’re especially excited to see the imaging technology land on Microsoft’s more powerful Windows Phone platform. Harlow didn’t hint at exactly when PureView technology — the first real threat to the digital camera — would hit the platform, but we’re hoping it happens during the next year or so.
