Verizon Wireless may be preparing to add a few new powerhouse devices to its portfolio next month. According to a new leak from Pocketnow on Monday, the carrier is set to add the HTC Incredible 4G and a 16GB flavor of the Samsung Galaxy Nexus in April. The Galaxy Nexus could hit store shelves on April 5th with the Galaxy Nexus to follow a few weeks later, Pocketnow said.
Verizon Wireless currently offers a 32GB model of the Galaxy Nexus, so a 16GB version could potentially mean that customers will be able to get their hands on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich for a bit cheaper. It’s possible the device will launch in the sub-$200 range, and in white, although we’ll wait for an official announcement before drawing any conclusions on a specific price point. The Incredible 4G has also been dubbed the HTC Fireball and could land on April 26th. It’s unclear what sort of specs the phone will offer, or what it will cost, but we’re secretly hoping it’s a version of the HTC One X that was unveiled during Mobile World Congress next week. Hey, we can dream, can’t we?
