Apple Reveals the Most Popular iPhone and iPad Apps of All Time

iOS owners have downloaded quite a few apps since Apple’s iOS App Store launched back in 2008 – 25 billion to be exact. That’s pretty astounding. Naturally, Apple is fulfilling the curiosity of fans across the globe by providing compiled lists of the all time most popular iOS apps, free and paid. And wouldn’t you know it, Angry Birds made the cut. Multiple times.

For the 25 All-Time on both the iPhone and iPad, Angry Birds shows up a total of twelve times in the free and paid categories. Twelve! And apparently people are ok with shelling out $2.99 to make themselves sound like T-Pain, as the “I Am T-Pain 2.0” app landed at number 25 for the iPhone. Other apps that made the cut include the free version of Words With Friends and the ever popular Netflix app.

There are some big, big names that made the 25 All-Time cut, with games taking the majority of the spoils. I guess not many people are interested in productivity apps. With the iPad 3 oh-so close, you can bet the 25 billion will skyrocket to many more by the end of this year.

To check the list out yourself, head on over to iTunes.
