With the official iPad 3 announcement only days away, and replacement parts already floating around for weeks, it figures someone would finally put it all together.
MIC Gadget got its hands on what appears to be the front – commonly known as the digitizer – and rear shells of the iPad 3, and put them together in the video you see above. Essentially it confirms much of what we have already heard such as a slightly thicker design, what appears to be a larger camera and a bit more tapered on the edges than the iPad 2. Those of you who bought Smart Covers for the iPad 2 will be happy to know that it appears they will also work on the iPad 3.
And, yes, the home button is indeed there.
While no internals were shown in the video, MIC Gadget also reported that one of their sources also confirmed that Siri – Apple’s voice commanded digital assistant – will be present on the new tablet.
All should be revealed on March 7, and TechnoBuffalo will have all the coverage you can handle, so be sure to check back in with us!
