Apple and Samsung each had a case thrown out of the German courts today, but another Apple’s suits against the Korean manufacturer still stands.
This morning in Germany, Judge Andreas Voss of the Mannheim Regional Court tossed out a Samsung suit against Apple over 3G standards use in the iPhones. This adds to Samsung’s string of losses in several locations around the world over intellectual property with the Cupertino-based company.
On the flip-side, one of Apple’s two lawsuits over the slide-to-unlock feature also got tossed out, but no ruling was given on the second.
Both companies are expected to appeal the rulings, but this now brings ruling to only four of the 14 cases the two companies have against each other building up in Germany. Isn’t it about time all these companies just decided they would be better off just getting along with one another?
