Motorola Pits Android Voice Actions Against Siri. Who’s the Better Assistant?

by Brandon Russell | February 28, 2012February 28, 2012 8:00 pm PDT

Siri is capable of some amazing things, but not everyone is convinced Apple’s voice assistant has what it takes. So what did Motorola do? It took the Atrix 2 with Android Voice Actions (AVA) and pitted it against the iPhone 4S-exclusive Siri. The results show that Siri is… slow. Very slow, in fact. Despite the video’s cheesy Fight Night presentation, the video demonstrates how each voice technology handles simple commands, with AVA coming on top every time. They’re both equally as accurate, but Siri is clearly a step behind, which Motorola seemingly wants consumers to believe equals “less useful.”

Have you had a chance to try them both out?  Which did you find to come out on top?
