Skype Windows Phone

Nokia just officially announced a beta version of Skype for Windows Phone. The video chat software should be available in the Windows Market now. Certified devices include the Lumia 710, Lumia 800, HTC Titan, Radar, Samsung Focus S and Focus Flash. If your phone made the cut, you can now make free audio and video calls over both Wi-Fi and 3G. While Skype for Windows Phone is still in early days, the app looks to be fitting in nicely with all the familiar Metro UI stylings. A proper, full release is set for April. Hopefully we’ll be able to give it a try later today! Stay tuned for more information out of Mobile World Congress.
