A handful of photos hit the Internet on Friday revealing what is supposedly HTC’s upcoming One S smartphone. With Mobile World Congress only a few days off, it looks like someone just couldn’t help themselves from spilling a couple of images.
Previously known by its HTC Ville codename, the pictures show off the upcoming One S compared to HTC’s Sensation. ITProPortal, which acquired the photos from a “confidential source,” says it can confirm the device has an 8-megapixel camera, a 4.3-inch screen and microSIM slot. Other rumored One S specs include a 1.5GHz processor, support for Beats by Dre, HTC Sense 4.0 and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
Curiously, the images clearly show that HTC has decided to stick with three capacitive buttons across the bottom even though Android 4.0 doesn’t require them, lining up with an earlier leaked video.
Of course, TechnoBuffalo will be at Mobile World Congress where the HTC One S will reportedly be unveiled, so be sure to tune in next week for all your up-to-date news.
