Acer is the latest company to announce a new device ahead of Mobile World Congress next week, and yes, it really is called the “Liquid Glow.” It’s a smartphone that promises to provide “the ultimate balance between style, performance, and affordability.”
The handset boasts a 3.7-inch capacitive touch display and it will ship with Google’s latest Android Ice Cream Sandwich operating system. Acer also promises a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera, which will be accompanied by an LED flash; NFC capabilities; and a variety of “trendy colors,” including “Sakura Pink, Alpine White, and Cat’s-eye Black.”
The Taiwanese company did not spill any information about the Liquid Glow’s processor, display resolution, storage capacity, or any of its other internals. But we’ll find out more about those things next week at Mobile World Congress, where the Liquid Glow will be on show. It is expected to begin shipping early this summer.
It certainly looks like a nice handset based on the press image above, and with a name like Liquid Glow, I’m expecting some fancy internals. Don’t let me down, Acer!
Are you looking forward to finding out more about the Liquid Glow?
