The Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG) has revealed a new Samsung tablet called the GT-N8000. The group, which qualifies devices that use Bluetooth, simply lists the device as a “mobile tablet,” but it’s not known exactly what the device will offer. Our gut instincts are telling us that this could be Samsung’s highly rumored 10.1-inch Galaxy Note.
Samsung will not be holding a press conference during Mobile World Congress next week. However, we suspect the company will have at least a few new products and could announce a new tablet. We’re not so sure what sort of hardware a 10.1-inch Galaxy Note will offer, but we suspect it will come equipped with Samsung’s S Pen technology that was first featured in the Galaxy Note. We also believe it should run Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, although that’s just speculation. TechnoBuffalo will be reporting from Barcelona as all of the news breaks, so be sure to check back often for more information!
