DROID Fighter LG Cayman

A new rumor suggests that Verizon Wireless may be preparing to launch at least two new devices, dubbed the DROID Fighter and the LG Cayman, in March and April. DROID-Life obtained what’s reportedly an internal screen shot from Verizon Wireless that claims the LG Cayman will launch on March 29th and that the DROID Fighter will follow it on April 12th.

HTC, Motorola and Samsung have all created DROID-branded devices for Verizon Wireless, but it’s unclear which one will manufacture the DROID Fighter at this time. We do know, however, that Verizon Wireless typically deserves that branding for high-end devices and that HTC is rumored to launch a quad-core device during Mobile World Congress. Perhaps Verizon Wireless already has plans to sell one of the first quad-core smartphones in the U.S. Thankfully we have just a few months until we find out for sure.
