The flood gates for iPad 3 rumors have really opened up. Earlier this morning we posted with images that suggest the iPad 3 will be a good deal thicker than the current generation iPad 2 and equipped with an 8-megapixel camera. Now, a fresh post from Apple.pro shows off what is allegedly the iPad 3’s 9.7-inch glass panel display. The site also says in its report that the new tablet will offer a dual-core A5X processor as well as support for Apple’s Siri voice engine, which made its debut in the iPhone 4S.
The aforementioned 8-megapixel camera will be capable of recording 1080p video, according to the report, which doesn’t come as a great surprise given that most mobile cameras in that range are capable of recording at least 720p video. As other rumors have suggested, Apple.pro also argued that the iPad 3 will launch in March and will ship with Apple’s brand new iOS 5.1 installed. It’s largely believed that the iPad 3 will also ship with a super sharp 2047 x 1536-pixel resolution Retina Display.
