We’ve already come across a few new features that are set to be included in iOS 5.1, and it looks like there is another addition that has up to this point eluded the leak machine. According to Greek website iPhoneHellas, the Notes app will soon gain the ability to include bulleted lists, links, underlined text and new font colors.
Unfortunately, not much information was provided other than a solitary screenshot of the new features in action. It’s not much, but it’s certainly a welcome change for an app that has largely remained the same since the first iPhone was launched in 2007. Now that Notes is being added as a standalone app to the upcoming Mountain Lion, the changes certainly make sense.
The latest iOS 5.1 rumors suggest we’ll see quicker camera access from the lock screen, as well as Japanese language support in Siri. What else does Apple have up its sleeve for the update? Hopefully we’ll find out on the rumored March 9 release date.
