A Quick Tour of the PS Vita’s User Interface (Video)

by Joey Davidson | February 17, 2012February 17, 2012 3:06 pm PDT

While the world waits for the PlayStation Vita to officially hit retail shelves, we’ve decided to do a few videos to cover Sony’s newest handheld. The TechnoBuffalo staff managed to snag a few devices for consideration, and we’ve been spending all of our waking moments with them in our clutches.

The video above is a quick, brief look at the device’s user interface, multitasking and notification system. While it only touches a small sampling of what the PS Vita offers as a gaming portable, we hope it will stand to offer some perspective on what you can expect out of using and navigating the unit if and when you choose to pick it up.

The PlayStation Vita will be available for everyone next week, but those that pre-ordered the early launch bundle should have their systems by now. If you’re reading this story and you’re one of those users that already owns the PS Vita, what do you think? Did Sony nail it with this new device?
