While there’s been plenty of speculation surrounding the date of its unveiling, there’s not a great deal that we know about the Samsung Galaxy S III at this point. But one local seller on Multiply is already advertising its specifications and allowing customers to pre-order the handset.
Kimstore published a poster offering pre-orders on Samsung’s next flagship handset yesterday, with promises of a 4.6-inch Super AMOLED Plus display with a native 720p high-definition resolution; a 12-megapixel rear-facing camera with autofocus and an LED flash, capable of shooting video at 1080p; 2GB of RAM; and 3G, 4G, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 3.0 connectivity.
Kimstore also claims the device will run Android 2.3 Gingerbread, however, the device in its picture appears to be running Ice Cream Sandwich. Which certainly seems more plausible to us, given that this is Samsung’s next big thing.
So, could it be that Kimstore already has access to the specifications for Samsung’s Galaxy S III, or is this poster simply a marketing ploy that hopes to secure plenty of free press?
Well, until Samsung makes its official announcement, we can’t be sure. Unfortunately we still have no idea when exactly this will happen, but recent rumors have claimed the device will launch in May.
What do you think?
