The world is just getting over the shock of a 5.3-inch phone/tablet hybrid actually seeming usable and already there’s a competitor on the way.
Just two days we got wind of the LG Optimus Vu, and now a picture has surfaced already showing the 5-inch screen next to the Galaxy Note. While there is only a .3-inch difference between the two, you can distinctly see that while the Galaxy Note is the taller of the two, the 4:3 aspect ratio of the Vu makes it distinctly wider.
No hard specs have been announced yet on the Optimus Vu, but seeing as the Galaxy Note is 83mm wide, speculation is that the new LG handset is around 90mm wider and will reportedly sport a 1024 x 768 resolution.
The LG Optimus Vu should be fully detailed at Mobile World Congress at the end of the month in Spain, and we’ll be there in person to bring you all of the latest information on this War of the Gargantuas.
