NVIDIA Hints At Quad-Core Phones In MWC Invite

Mobile World Congress is set to go down in Barcelona later this month, and it looks like NVIDIA will be bringing some new quad-core smartphones to the party. The company has sent out this invitation to its MWC event, with promise of “quad-core firsts” continuing at the event.

NVIDIA previously promised that we would see the first quad-core smartphones in early 2012, so it’s not entirely surprising that the company has chosen MWC as the place to unveil some of those devices.

The invitation to the event shows a man on a roller coaster holding a phone. Android Central blew up the photo and suspects that the handset shown in the pic is the HTC Incredible S. Another HTC phone, the HTC Edge, is rumored to be one of the first quad-core handsets to hit the market.

TechnoBuffalo will be on the scene in Barcelona later this month, and will of course keep you posted on what NVIDIA (and everyone else) shows off at the show.
