We already knew that the Galaxy Nexus was headed to Sprint, and now the Now Network’s first LTE handset has gotten a little more official with its own Google sign up page. Signing up doesn’t commit you to purchasing the phone, or guarantee you’ll get one when it launches; however, it will sign you up to receive information about the handset such as its release date and pricing via email when details become available.
The Galaxy Nexus will be the first LTE handset available on Sprint. Unlike the Verizon version of the handset, the Sprint Galaxy Nexus will come sporting Google Wallet and is expected to be free of carrier bloatware. Sprint was showing off its version of the phone at CES earlier this month, however, would not allow the back of the device to be photographed, leading many to believe that the phone will have a larger battery than fund on the Verizon or GSM World versions of the phone.
