World’s Largest NES Controller Shown Off In London, Weighs 265 Pounds

Sure you may be a Tetris master on the puny little controller that came with your Nintendo, but how do you think you might play on a controller with buttons the size of your head?

Shown off in London for the release of Guinness World Records Gamer’s Edition, this massive NES controller is 12-feet wide and weighs an astounding 265 pounds. The controller was designed and built by an engineering student named Ben Allen at Delft University of technology in the Netherlands.

The fully-functional controller took close to $6k to build, and is so large they even had trouble getting it into Liverpool Station in London where it is was put on display.

What do you think? Think you could get through a few levels of Super Mario with this thing?
