Out of nowhere, Huawei surprised us with its impressively spec’d Ascend P1 S (pictured above). The device, announced earlier this month, stole the crown as the world’s thinnest smartphone, with Android 4.0 (with customer skin), 4.3-inch Super AMOLED display and 1.5GHz TI OMAP 4460 Cortex-A9 processor in tow. But it looks like even those specs won’t hold a candle to what the company has planned for Mobile World Congress.
According to multiple online rumor mill reports, Huawei has a new Diamond series headed our way, promising to be the company’s “smartest, fastest and most high-performing smartphones.” No details were revealed, but if the upcoming reveal kicks Huawei’s Ascend P1 S to the curb, we can’t wait to see what the Diamond series is all about. Could it be a quad-core offering?
Mobile World Congress kicks off at the end of February, and TechnoBuffalo will be there to bring you all the latest news. Stay tuned for further information on Huawei’s mysterious Diamond series.
