Verizon Drops the Price of the Droid Razr $100, Removes microSD Card

Motorola Droid RAZR (Chart)If you’ve been thinking about picking up a Droid Razr from Verizon, now you get one a little cheaper. Verizon has announced that it will be selling a version of the ultra-thin smartphone without the included 16GB memory card for $100 less than its original asking price.

Currently the Droid Razr sells for $299.99 on Verizon with a new 2-year contract. The new offering of the phone would be $199.99 with a new two-year contract. Currently you can pick up a 16GB microSD for $30 or less online, making the cheaper phone purchase a no-brainer for anyone who thinks through the purchase.

You can pick up one of the phones sans memory card now at Verizon Wireless stores in black, with white and purple versions expected to drop on January 23.
