Look Out Nano: The i’m Watch Offers Big Music in a Little Device

I love Italian shoes, bags and designer clothes — so why not Italian smart watches too? And this piece of wearable tech‘s a beauty: The i’m Watch is a smart device that jacks users into all the music they can handle via a slick interface to the Play.me application on i’Music. (Play.me is also available as an HTML4 web app for desktop and mobile devices, or via Samsung‘s native app on the brand’s phones and smart TVs.) This gives users over a million radio channels, access to DJ-compiled playlists, high-quality streaming and even offline playback support.

Could this unassuming device be a Nano killer? Possibly. There are some smart ideas here on this smart watch, including a 3.5 mm jack that offers in/out (for either a mic or a headset), a hi-res 1.55-inch touchscreen (fronted by a sexy piece of curved glass), Bluetooth tethering support and a 4GB memory card.

Interested? Then check out i’m Watch online for inklings of the upcoming late February 2012 launch.
