Could Polaroid be announcing an Android tablet at CES? While we’re definitely expecting to see a ton of tablets this week from a variety of manufacturers, Polaroid wasn’t on our radar until today. An anonymous tipster sent Engadget this photo of a banner from the trade show, showing not only a Polaroid-branded Android tablet, but also an e-reader.
The tablet photo shows off a tablet running a skinned version of Android, with a number of AOL apps on its homescreen. The rear of the device, also seen in the photo, shows a Polaroid camera. The presence of the AOL apps seems to suggest that Polaroid and AOL will also be announcing some type of partnership at the show.
The e-reader photo shows the cover of a book on what appears to be a touchscreen device.
TechnoBuffalo will, of course, be on the ground at CES all week. Stay tuned to hear more about Polaroid’s CES announcements as they happen.
