BioShock Infinite Trailer During VGAs, Teaser Screen Tweeted

Geoff Keighley is the host of Spike’s GameTrailers TV. The network aimed at the young male demographic is set to kick off their annual Video Game Awards show this Saturday night at 8 PM EST.

One of the featured pieces of content during the program is a brand new trailer from Irrational Games’ upcoming BioShock Infinite. Keighley Tweeted the teaser image you see at the top of this post, along with the following note for the show on Saturday:

New trailer for BioShock Infinite to premiere at 2011 VGAs this Saturday night on Spike! Here’s a sneak peek. http://pic.twitter.com/vy8NnVuy

If you’re interested, you can watch the full preview the gaming press saw during E3 in June of this year. The demo features live, in-game motion and is a must see for diehard BioShock fans. The clip checks in at around 14 minutes in length.

At this point, it looks like this year’s VGAs will play host to a ton of video game news and announcements. We’ve already talked about Epic Games’ upcoming reveal, as well as information bound from both the next from Alan Wake and a new BioWare IP.

The problem with the VGAs is that Spike will exclusively hold rights to the content shown off during their show for a few days. More than likely, the show (and subsequent uploads of the show’s clips) is the only place you’ll be able to see clips of these new games in motion until the publishers and PR companies release high quality, official trailers to the masses next week.

We’ll have more on BioShock Infinite, including this upcoming trailer, once it’s released to the press. For now, are you looking forward to Irrational Games‘ next attempt at the BioShock franchise?

Let’s be serious, of course you are! I feel like I’m taking crazy pills!
