U.S Judge Denies Apple’s Request to Ban Samsung’s Galaxy Devices

Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus featuredA U.S judge has reportedly denied Apple’s request to ban Samsung’s Galaxy line of products in the United States.

Apple has claimed that Samsung is “slavishly copying” its products with the Galaxy line, and the two companies are currently in the middle of twenty lawsuits across ten different countries around the world regarding those claims.

Friday Judge Lucy Koh rejected Apple’s U.S attempt to ban sales of three smartphone models, as well as the Samsung Tab 10.1, stating “It is not clear that an injunction on Samsung’s accused devices would prevent Apple from being irreparably harmed.”

Recently a ban was lifted on sales of the Galaxy Tab in Australia. Apple had won a preliminary injunction against sales of the tablet in the country, however, a judge ruled to allow the Galaxy Tab to be sold.

What do you think? Are the Galaxy devices slavish copies of Apple products?
