Verizon Releasing Two 4G Droid Tablets In December?

Rumor has it Verizon Wireless will be releasing two Droid-branded tablet this month.

According to CNET the carrier will be getting two of Motorola Mobility’s Droid Xyboard tablets, an 8 and 10-inch model. Both tablets sport Gorilla Glass-protected screens, a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM and a 5-megapixel camera rear-facing and 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera.

The tablets are thinner than the Xoom, and take some design-notes from the recently released Droid Razr. CNET, who has spent some time with the tablets, describes them as “thinner than a AAA battery and lighter than a paperback book.”

The larger of the two includes a stylus and is geared toward business customers, while the smaller is a media-friendly device geared at average consumers.
