Amazon’sKindle Daily Deal’ promotion has offered U.S. Kindle users with a discounted book every day since its inception, and today the promotion has arrived in the U.K. — and it’s just as awesome.

British Kindle users will now be offered a cheap book every single day of the week from Amazon’s Kindle Store, with super sweet discounts that mean you get some titles for next to nothing. Today’s deal, for example, offers Michael Ridpath’s Where the Shadows Lie for just £0.99 (approx. $1.58), which is 75% off yesterday’s price of £3.99 (approx. $6.36).

Just like the promotion open to U.S. users, the title changes at 00:00 every day and remains the same until 23:59. On its blog, Amazon encourages readers to check back daily to ensure they don’t miss that perfect deal:

“Today we’re launching the Kindle Daily Deal where we unveil a Kindle book at a specially discounted price each day – for that day only.

“You’ll save big from the previous day’s price so to ensure you don’t miss a deal, check back daily or follow us on Twitter or Facebook.

The first Kindle Daily Deal is Where the Shadows Lie by Michael Ridpath. Get it today for £0.99 – a savings of 75 per cent from yesterday’s price.”

While I appreciate Amazon’s efforts over here in the U.K., the Kindle Daily Deal promotion doesn’t make up for the lack of a Kindle Fire tablet. Come on, Amazon!

Will you be checking out the Kindle Daily Deal?
