iPhone Battery Issues Continue For Some After iOS 5.0.1 Update

It seems like Apple’s iOS 5.0.1 update didn’t correct everyone’s iOS 5 battery issues. The update was released Thursday in response to complaints that iOS 5 drained device’s battery power faster than normal. While the update did correct the issue for some, others have reported the issue staying the same or even getting worse.

In a statement to All Things Digital, Apple said “The recent iOS software update addressed many of the battery issues that some customers experienced on their iOS 5 devices. We continue to investigate a few remaining issues.”

I never had an issue with battery life with my iPhone, and the update didn’t really improve anything for me (but it didn’t make anything worse either).

What about you guys? Anyone seeing an improvement after the iOS 5.0.1 update? Anyone experience worse battery life instead?
