T-Mobile has added Samsung’s latest tiny tablet to its portfolio of 4G-enabled slates. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus is quite possibly one of the most exciting 7-inch tablets so far, with an impressive array of specifications that include a dual-core 1.2GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, and a 3-megapixel camera.
Weighing in at just 0.77 lbs., the device is lighter than Amazon’s upcoming Kindle Fire tablet, and one of the thinnest slates on the market. This makes it easy to take it everywhere with you, for watching movies, listening to music, playing games, and browsing the web — if you can put up with the smaller display, of course.

Jeremy Korst, vice president of mobile broadband and emerging devices for T-Mobile, said Samsung’s latest 7-inch is “perfectly sized” for an on-the-go entertainment experience:
“Consumers want a selection of affordable, highly mobile tablets that can deliver the content they want virtually anywhere they go.
“The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus is a perfectly sized, ultra-thin and lightweight 4G tablet that easily fits in a coat pocket or purse and delivers a rich on-the-go entertainment experience.”
The device will be available from November 16 for $250 after a $50 mail-in rebate, but you will need to sign up for a two-year commitment with T-Mobile. Alternatively, you can get the device from Amazon for $399.
