Verizon Offering Double The Data For 4G Phones

by Emily Price | November 7, 2011November 7, 2011 9:30 am PDT

Verizon LogoStarting November 8, Verizon will be offering double the data for customers who purchase a 4G phone and sign up for 4GB data service.

The promotion is available for new and existing customers, and gives those customers twice the amount of data they might otherwise receive for the same price tag. For instance, a 2GB data plan on Verizon is currently $30; under the promotion customers will receive 4GB of 4G data for the same $30 price.

If you’re already a Verizon customer rocking a 4G device, you can take advantage of the deal by logging into your Verizon account and changing your data plan tomorrow.

If you are already using 4G service on Verizon, then signing up is a no-brainer. If you’re planning on picking up a smartphone in the coming weeks, the discount is certainly worth considering when it comes to carrier-picking time.
