On a day when Amazon’s Kindle Fire meets yet another competitor — the Barnes & Noble Nook Tablet — the company has released another TV commercial for its debut slate. In the 32-second clip, Amazon boasts about the tablets ability to handle movies, music, apps, games, and lots more.
“For years we’ve been placing the things you love at your doorstep. Now, we’re placing them at your fingertips. Introducing Kindle Fire—a Kindle for movies, music, apps, games, web browsing, and of course reading. Kindle Fire from Amazon.”
It’s a nice ad, but I wouldn’t be happy if Amazon had left my new tablet sitting on my doorstep like that. The more I see and hear about this tablet, the more disappointed I am that it’s not coming to the U.K. It looks like a fantastic device that will be a steal at just $199.
