Nook Color

Barnes & Noble is fully expected to drop a new Nook Tablet come 10am Monday morning. In anticipation of that announcement, Best Buy has dropped the price of the Nook Color permanently down to $199.

The Color was previously price-pointed at $249, which is the same price B&N is expected to sell the Nook Tablet for. The Nook Tablet is expected to look exceptionally similar to the Nook Color, while being slightly thinner and lighter. The tablet will reportedly come rocking a 1.2GHz dual-core TI OMAP4 processor and 1GB of RAM, as well as 16GB of built-in memory with an expansion port.

Along with Monday’s tablet announcement, Barnes & Noble is expected to drop the price of the Nook Color down to $199, and the price of its e-ink Nook down to a cool $99.

Anyone looking forward to Barnes & Noble’s announcement Monday?
