Do you want an Android phone, but aren’t sure you’re ready to make a two-year commitment to one? Boost Mobile may have the answer for you – The ZTE Warp, an Android 2.3 smartphone the company has now priced at just $199.
The phone comes sporting:
- Android 2.3 Gingerbread
- 1GHz processor
- 5-megapixel camera
- expandable memory slot that supports microSD cards up to 32GB (2GB card included)
- Mobile ID, an exclusive service from Boost that allows customers to download and install “ID packs” that deliver a complete mobile experience, including applications, widgets, ringtones and wallpapers, in a few simple clicks.
- ‘Boost Zone,’ a centralized place right on the device where Boost Mobile customers can access their account, make a payment, get assistance with their phone, and stay up-to-date on Boost Mobile’s products and services.
Any customers to snag one of the phones and sign up for an Android Monthly Unlimited or the Daily Unlimited Plan by Nov. 8 at 11:59 p.m. PT will also score a one-time $55 credit to their Boost Mobile account, the equivalent of a free month of Android Monthly Unlimited service on their device.
You can check out more info about the Warp (and order one) from Boost’s website here.
What do you think? A $199 contract-free Gingerbread device WITH a free month of service? Sounds like a stellar deal to me.
