One of this year’s most exciting Android handsets looks to be the new Motorola DROID RAZR — a device that, on paper, looks like it could steal Samsung’s crown for the hottest Android smartphone. The device was initially expected to hit the U.K. on November 1, but a second delay means Brits are still waiting to get their hands on the world’s thinnest 4G smartphone.
Having missed its expected launch on November 1, the device was expected to land the following day, on November 2. However, online retailer Clove has confirmed that the device had been delayed even further, with expectations of a U.K. arrival sometime next week along with a £45o (approx. $720) price tag:
“Unfortunately we have just heard that the RAZR release will be delayed until next week.
“No reason given for the delay at the moment, we did think the 1 [November] and then the 2 [November] were pretty solid, especially as the 2nd was reconfirmed last Friday.”
It is worth noting, however, that Motorola hasn’t actually mentioned a U.K. launch date publicly, but those keeping a close on the Clove website would have expected the RAZR to arrive this week. And I’m sure there are plenty of Android fans eagerly anticipating the device’s arrival.
With a specifications list that includes a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, a 4.3-inch qHD Super AMOLED display, 32 GB of storage, and an 8-megapixel camera, this device is certainly worth getting exciting about.
