Nokia’s Stephen Elop promised we’d see some tasty Mango smartphones before the year’s end, and it looks like he’s making good on that promise. A rather nice looking shot of the purported Nokia 800, or Sea Ray, showed up on Engadget earlier today, leading us to believe the device’s first public appearance is imminent.
The phone has been teased for quite a while now (video, rumored specs, gushing Nokia GM), and now it seems the device has reached it’s rumor crescendo. The timing of this photo is important because Nokia World is slated to kick off tomorrow in London where we’ll hopefully get a glimpse at a number of new Windows-based Nokia handsets, including the Sea Ray. Still, a mere photo could wind up meaning diddly-squat.
Of course, TechnoBuffalo will be on hand to bring all of the details as they happen, so stay tuned.
If the Sea Ray/800 is shown off at Nokia World, do you think it’ll be “absolutely stunning,” as Nokia’s GM, Conor Pierce, put it?
