There’s still a few hours to wait for Google and Samsung’s Ice Cream Sandwich event, but thanks to one Japanese carrier, we already know that the Samsung Galaxy Nexus (Nexus Prime) is going to be available in November. NTT DoCoMo confirmed today in a message posted to Twitter that it would be “among the fastest” to bring the latest Nexus handset to the market this November.
Unfortunately, the carrier did not give a specific release date, or mention price tags and specifications. But those who are itching to get their hands on the latest Nexus smartphone will be pleased to hear that it’s now just weeks away from launching.
Of course, we’re expecting to hear a lot more about the new handset during Google and Samsung’s joint announcement later today, and you can follow it all via the TechnoBuffalo live blog. However, the device certainly won’t be the biggest surprise of the year.
